The Fachwerk Kielmeyerhaus, the largest on the marketplace, was constructed in the end of the 16th century and was initiallyused by the local winemakers. It had eight juicers for grapes that belonged tothe St. Catherine Hospital located in the same building. Of course, thehospital no longer exists. The only things reminding about it are the emblemand the sculptural image of a man with a juicer on the Kielmeyerhaus. Since the19th century the house belongs to a private owner. Today there is ahotel with five apartments there, each named after a sort of wine, for exampleRiesling, Burgunder.
