The Käthe Kollwitz House of the painter, graphic artist andsculptor opened at the house where she spent the last year of her life.Kollwitz glorified the image of the German working-class, uncompromisingfighter against the exploiters and social injustice, for which she was evengranted the personal exhibition in Moscow in 1932.
Most of herworks are exhibited in Kollwitz museums in Berlin and Cologne. The exhibition inMoritzburg tells rather about herself. The seven rooms of the house contain herpersonal belongings, her works, letters, and fragments of diaries.
