Jeveris best known among connoisseurs of the nappy drink for that it is producingone of the most unusual and interesting varieties of German beer - JeverPilsener. The famous Frisian brewery was founded in 1848. Its products havebeen in demand among beer lovers for two centuries.
Experts say JeverPilsener stands out particularly with mild bitterness and a subtle aroma of hops.Local producers achieve this effect by using in their product a bit more hopsthan in classic brewing. Water in the area is so soft and delicious, that beerdoes not become strong, but just slightly bitter. There are regular tours onthe plant’s territory. There is also a small brewery museum (Brauereimuseum),where you can get acquainted with the modern beer production technology and seehow the famous Jever beer was brewed 100 years ago.
