In 2010, the International Phono and Radio Museum opened in Dormagen. The collections of two local enthusiasts are the heart of the collection. Helmut Ditsch was collecting radio sets and various recording devices and Volkmar Hess collected phonographs and gramophones. Their collections are so vast that do not fit on the 500 sq.m area of the museum. Therefore, the museum exposition is changed every 3-6 months.
