Directions

Old Heinsheim castle was constructed in the 18thcentury for the noble family of von Raknitzs. Since then the two-storey baroquemansion hasn’t changed its owners. Since mid-20th century there is arestaurant and a hotel in Heinsheim. Next to the main building there is a 1706small baroque chapel (Schlosskapelle). Wedding ceremonies are conducted here.

Heinsheimcastle is surrounded by an apple orchard and a park, with a wonderful view onthe picturesque valley of the Neckar river. Inside the mansion pay attention tothe ancient wooden staircase and stucco.
