The Fire Fighting Museum not only exhibits unique collections of variousfire-fighting tools, but also has developed an interesting interactive program.Here you can be a firefighter and gain insight into the fire extinguishing means.A pump of the early XVII century, which saved several European cities fromcomplete destruction by fire, is still operating here.

The second exposition of the museum is devoted to thefire vehicles. A real fire station, consisting of 25 cars, as well asexhibition of firefighters’ kit and equipment is the local pride. All thecollections are "live": these objects actually were and still are usedin Germany for fire fighting.
