Beck Castle was built in the Baroque style in 1766-1777. The beautiful palace served as a castle-residence for a short time. Already in the beginning of the XIX century, a schnapps production plant was located in it. Later the castle passed into the possession of the famous family of Metternich, one of whose members was a former Chancellor of the Austrian Empire.
In the first half of the twentieth century Beck Castle gradually came into disrepair, but in 1966 buinessman Karl Kuchenbäcker bought it. After restoration, he built an amusement park on the grounds of the castle, which quickly became a popular holiday destination. The park is small and most of its attractions are designed for children. It is open all year round. In winter Christmas parties are held here, while in summer it hosts wedding parties.
