The artificial Lake Untreu is located to the south of Hof. People come here to get away from the hustle and bustle of the town, for example, on one of the fitted beaches, among which there are also two nude beaches. Here you can rent a catamaran, canoe or sailboat, go rowing and surfing.

On the shore there is a playground for children, as well as volleyball and basketball courts, a mini-golf field, fishing and barbecue areas. Fans of extreme entertainment can visit the adventure park and the labyrinth. There are hiking trails along the lake, and in the shade of the trees there is a large restaurant with a beer garden.
