On the island in the middle of the Rhine the building shaped like ship rises. There is a greenhouse inside, where thirty degrees Celsius temperature and high humidity levels are constantly kept. Here cocoa and coffee beans, vanilla and other ingredients are grown for production of chocolate. The process itself is fully automated. It can be watched through glass windows. Visitors can get acquainted with three thousand years of history of chocolate goodies, starting from Aztec and Mayan chocolate bunnies and finishing with surprise eggs. No one leaves the museum without a chocolate. They are custom made: you only need to list a desired set of components. For free the chocolate from a chocolate fountain can be tasted.
